Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

I'd read about this museum on TripAdvisor and thought it would be a fun thing to experience for my 16-year-old son (I was also expecting to have some fun myself). It's really mind-blowing to see all the skeletons of different species and the comparison of one species skeleton to another is really a fantastic visual proof of how we're all so intrinsically connected. If you're interested in evolution in general, dinosaurs, prehistoric animals and fossils - GO to this museum. We first visited the zoo and paid 36 Euros (3 people) for entrance - at the Galeries d'Anatomie Comparee et de Paleontologie we're entitled to a discount, so we got the entrance for 12 Euros (3 people) instead of 27 Euros!

This large museum of natural history combines three museums into one, including a four-story taxonomy wing, a building of skeletons and fossils and a separate structure devoted entirely to geology.
Really enjoyed our trip here, kept a 6 year old entertained too. First floor has skeletons as well as body parts from a range of species from Rhinos to Dolphins to Monkeys. My daughter was fascinated with this and a great opportunity to discuss evolution and natural sciences Second floor is ice age/dinosaur era species such as the Allosaurus and Mammoths. Again, really interesting displays with plenty to see despite the labels being in french (my high school french and google translate app helped a bit here) Easily 1-2 hours and although we only visited here, you can apparently buy a ticket which allows entrance to this and several others around the Garden Great location too, easily accessible from a few metro lines
