We loved the hot springs and the setting along a river in the woods and found a small pool at a perfect temeperature for a long soak. The wine tasting at a small family vineyard was a pleasant way to round out the day and a nice introduction to the wines of Montalcino. Matteo was and excellent guide and driver - we enjoyed his insights into the countyside and hid frindly and professional manner. Highly recommended.
What a great opportunity to explore the heart of Tuscany in a luxury full immerion 3 day tours from Rome and back. You will discover the beauty of Maremma region. Maremma is unique because of the variety of its territory: blue sea, long beaches, black rock, hills covered with woods, marshes and flat lands, green hills and natural thermal baths. It's a timeless region with ancient roots. Here the Etruscans and then the Romans flourished for centuries leaving behind important traces in the Etruscan cities of Populonia and Roselle and many archeological finds around the region. Maremma is not just culture and landscapes; it is also a region rich in typical products to be tasted and savoured while drinking a good glass of wine from Montecucco area which is the origin of Brunello of Montalcino. You will stay in a luxury relais in the countryside of Tuscany and you will be spoiled from our top quality services.

My wife and I took the all day ride this past September. It was just the two of us and our guide. My wife was just interested in a walking ride which was fine with me. I felt our guide would have given us any type of ride we wanted. The only aspect which could have been better was the lunch they provided, but that is just a minor complaint. Make sure you leave extra time to find the facility. We used Google maps and was informed that we had arrived at our destination in the middle of nowhere. Had to drive into the town of Montieri to call Hotel Prategiano and have them help us find our way.

This is the tour of the oldest Etruscan and Roman Maremma but remained intact over time. The thermal and healing spring attracts users from all over the world. Here you can breathe authenticity, history and rurality. Breathtaking views. Spectacular wines. The villages we will visit preserve the characteristics of Tuscany and its inhabitants still speak the ancient dialects. The Biodynamic, Biological company where we will have a picnic is truly an example of obsessive attention to traditions in respect of Nature! From the above you can enjoy a 360 degree view. Your basket includes: 2 basic wines, typical breads, 2 types of cheese, award-winning oil!
Inclusions: Natural and carbonated., I use my car for the tour., Actually Tripadvisor did not contemplate the right type: yours will be a PIC-NIC AT SUNSET with the Pic.nic with 1 Bottle of white or red wine, cheeses, salami, bread and water., Parking Fees, Tourist guide and sommelier service on board
Exclusions: Mance
My adult daughter and I visited Bibonna, Italy during Easter weekend and wanted to do visit local wineries. I did not want to drive so that I could enjoy the tastings so we booked a 5 hour tour with Monica. She was FABULOUS!! Monica is a taxi driver, licensed tour guide and sommelier...the perfect combination. We saw the beauty of the region, learned about the history of Tuscany and the importance of wine and olives to the area, and visited two amazing wineries. Monica was flexible and accommodating to make stops for pictures and answer all of our questions. The booking process was easy and she customized the trip to our needs. Monica communicated with me often leading up to our trip and called me when she knew we would be arriving to welcome us to Tuscany. She confirmed the pickup time at our hotel and was there early to ensure we got the most of our day. My daughter and I had an amazing experience and Monica was well balanced in making us feel like we had a friend guiding us, as well as giving us space to share the moments with each other. She has a great relationship with the staff at the wineries and makes sure you get the most out of the experience. She loves her home region and the wines they make and her love of all that is infectious. I would highly recommend any sort of tour of the Tuscan region with Monica, but would encourage you to let her guide you to the more local and out-of-the-way destinations. You will experience what most tourists do not. I plan to return on a trip with my husband and guarantee you we will be calling Monica!
