I wasn't sure about camping in 110-115 degree heat. My family is so glad we went. What an amazing park! Like the reviews say, it's very clean and well maintained. We camped in a motor home and heat shielded all of the windows. The motor home was able to stay at 67-75 the whole time with the AC running. We were lucky to get site 4 which had a water view. Our family was having so much fun we ended up grabbing a couple other sites for a few more days. We spent most of our time in our small ski boat. The water was great! Skiing, tubing, and kind people made the trip even better. There are little coves to explore and we could see the fish in clear water. Big carp, boiling stripers, and catfish. Couldn't catch one to save our life though. Don't let the heat scare you off. I can only imagine what the park is like in the Spring, must be amazing. We camped with 3 kids under 12 and two dogs.

Great Marina to go to, a lot of people and a few tour companies but not overly packed. You want to get there as early as possible I would say 8:00 is a good time. There aren't many spots to BBQ with tables those fill up quick. If you're renting kayaks, boats or paddle boards you want to get there early for that as well and make the most out of you're day. There is an entrance fee daily $25 or they also have $45 annual pass and that also lets you get into the other areas such as Lake Mead. Willow Beach is about an hour away from Las Vegas straight shot on new fwy 11. The turn off from the fwy down to Willow Beach isn't the best road make sure to have a full tank of gas and decent tires. Cell phone service is really bad something to keep in mind. There is a place to eat and a store to buy drinks and snacks. Great day trip!

Antelope Point Marina Village

Reviewed By Shellybean15 - Boca Raton, United States

We arrived in Page mid afternoon on a very hot Saturday and debated about taking a boat tour or renting a boat ourselves. We decided we would prefer to enjoy the lake ourselves and ended up at Antelope Point Marina. They had some boats arriving back from earlier rentals. We definitely got lucky as it is first come, first serve for hourly and day of rentals. We ended up with a pontoon boat that worked out perfectly. The marina employee who got us set up on the boat provided a map and suggested we go straight to Navajo Canyon since we only had two hours. Driving the boat through that area was breathtaking. The color of Lake Powell against the tall red canyon walls was awesome! We even had a little extra time to explore before heading back to the marina. I would suggest to book ahead if possible or arrive earlier in the day. A half or full day rental would be nice as it is so beautiful, relaxing and so much to see. The marina and rental office (NOT the visitors center) is a hike from the parking lot but they have a golf cart shuttle that will take you to and from if preferred.

For the first time since we have been going to katherine Landing at Lake Mohave were we able to reserve and pay for an boat slip online. It was simple to do and worked great. We arrived late Thursday night after the store was closed and the boat slip reservation list was posted and easy to find our slip. As always, putting in the boat and taking it out two days later was a breeze. Overall, another great weekend on Lake Mohave, thanks

Wahweap Marina

I was worried based on the bad reviews, but everything went perfectly! We rented a powerboat for the day (9am-3pm) and check-in was easy, fast and efficient. Once we were done with the paperwork with the nice lady, Sarah took us to the boat to show us around and greeted us when we got back. The boat was in a great condition. Fuel is $5/gallon so we ended up paying about a $100 to fill up the tank, and we got the insurance for $25. It was cold, but we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Lake Powell. They were wearing masks, which is important to note...because to my shock, dismay, and disgust...most people in Utah do not wear one! I don’t know why...have they not heard about the global pandemic?!?
