we stop regularly at the Mercure Brive Hotel and we appreciate the consistent quality of services (reception welcome, room comfort and quietness) as well as the quality of breakfast. sorry, but the request of min 200 characters is very strange !

Good location close to motorway and large Carrefour. However this also means the road noise is noticeable. Easy to find with free parking and cheap breakfast - although this doesn’t give you much choice or healthy options but at 3€50 what do you want. Usual F1 set up re rooms, showers and toilets (ie not en suite). Some staff very helpful while others quite surly. Rooms small but ok - beds quite comfortable for a night. Ours had a musty smell to it. Plenty of outside seating/tables. No towels/soap in rooms though. For the money you can’t complain - you can eat at the Mercure next door or a pizza place up the road both within walking distance. OK for road trip stays.

B&B Hotel BRIVE-LA-GAILLARDE B&B Hotel in Brive-la-Gaillarde Looking for a cheap hotel in Limousin? Our B&B hotel Brive-la-Gaillarde throws open its doors to you. A cheap hotel near the A20 and A89 motorways Our B&B hotel Brive-la-Gaillarde is located near a veritable motorway hub, with the A20, A89 and Transeuropean all close by. Brive-la-Gaillarde centre is quick and easy to get to, just 8 minutes away by car.
This B&B Hotel in Brive-la-Gaillarde was a pleasant and convenient stay. The hotel was within walking distance of a Tesla Supercharger and next to a restaurant where we enjoyed dinner. The room was clean and looked fresh. A simple room for four though, which included a bunk bed for our children. We also enjoyed a simple but tasty breakfast which we savoured on the al fresco terrace. Good value for money, good stay for those passing through!

The best thing about this establishment is its convenience to the Motorway south from Limoges. The village lacks charm, as did the Auberge. We were received brusquely and dispatched to our room. which was functional but rather bleak, with a view of a rusty corrugated iron roof next door blocking what looked like it could be a nice view over the countryside.. The 'logis' however serves a purpose as non-costly overnight in that area for travellers, Just don't expect to have found a little gem. The .dinner was better than the accomodation, with a mix of highs and lows.. Foie gras as you would expect in this area was very good, prawns in croustillade were light and tasty. Entrecote was tasty but chewy and difficult to cut, served with runner beans which seemed to have come from a tin. Petit sale of pork with lentils was good simple country food. Local Correze wine (mille et une pierres) more than drinkable and good value (12 Euros a half bottle).Cheese frankly disgraceful for any self-respecting French restaurant (never mind one recommended in Michelin) - cold and hard brie and reblochon (from fridge?) but a good local Tome-type cheese. Dessert very poor - sold jelly-like panacotta with mango chunks which did not seem fresh. We exchanged notes with a French couple at breakfast (standard fare, usual buffet) and agreed neither of us would hurry back

This B+B is located just 3 miles outside Brive in a very quiet rural location down a dead end road and is a real gem, beautiful location extremely hospitable owner and fab breakfast, beds also great and spotless. Swimming pool outside your patio doors! LUXURIOUS.
