Onong Resort is located on the island of Siladen. The diving and snorkeling is mostly done in the Bunaken National Park. The Resort is self offers spa service as well as full and half board accommodation.
This is my favorite place I’ve stayed in years. Great value for the region and 5 stars for everything. Staff is professional, kind, helpful above and beyond. Rooms are incredibly charming, spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and romantic. Very picturesque and perfectly groomed every day. Food is gourmet and ever meal was above and beyond. It’s easy to eat too much here because every bite is amazing. The home reef is the best I’ve seen. Pristine and well cared for. Perfect for both snorkeling and scuba diving. I’ve typed the entire region and this is my favorite spot. You can walk right off the beach into an underwater paradise.

Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is located on the remote island of Siladen next to the Bunaken National Park. Most of the diving is done in the National Park. But it's not only a paradise for divers also snorklers can enjoy the beauty of the area when they join on the boat. If the walls of Bunaken are not enough we also offer day trips to Nain, Bangka or Lembeh.
I was with them only 3 days, but it was like unforgettable for me. At first I was afraid because in general, beachside resorts have a lot of sun and it will be hot. But do you know? not at all. There is just a cool area and I love it. Their boss Oli is always smiling and greeting, and you will find a true leader if you see him here. He didn't restrain the staff, rebuked them with a smile if they were wrong and would let them relax when they were out of work. I don't know but I think this is one of the magic you can see here. I salute him. I think that's the reason why other guests always say the staff at Celebes Divers are lovely, because their leader is more than lovely. The food was delicious and beautifully arranged. The chefs do a great job. The rooms are clean and fragrant, there are open beds before we sleep, always checking and maintaining cleanliness. There was only a slight problem with the wifi while I was with them (lost or disconnected) but what internet do you expect from a small island ? Because of the beauty of this place I can tolerate the problem (although a little uncomfortable for me).

Siladen is a beautiful, idyllic island in Bunaken National Park. Just 25 minutes by speed boat from Manadao Port and the port is 30 minutes by car from Manado Airport. Bobocha Cottages has only 8 cottages and the rooms are directly on the beach with reef and dive boat just metres from your door. Bunaken National Park has so many wonderful dive sites all just 10-30 minutes away by boat. The dive boat picked us up each morning just metres from our breakast table on the beach and brought us back after 2 dives for lunch. This made diving so easy. Staying at Bobacha all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner are inclusive and communal - although you can request as we did (family of four with two teenage children) to dine privately on our last night which was magical on the beach shore, under the full moon. The table set up was beautiful and the staff had taken great care. The food is different each day (apart from breakfast) and we especially loved the diners - we are seafood lovers (but meat was also served) whole fresh bbq barracuda, yellow fin tuna, mahi mahi, giant bbq prawns... and great salads and yummy chocolate brownies. Sarah and her team are fabulous hosts - very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious with a bathroom and wardrobe area and wooden terrace balcony at the front facing the sea. Our rooms had aircon and the electricity operates 6pm - 7am. This was not an issue for us as we were diving in the morning but occasionally on a very hot afternoon it would be nice to retreat to an aircon room! The beach front though is very shaded by lovely sea almond trees and there is a swimming pool too. We enjoyed some great afternoons snorkelling on the house reef and a surprisingly fabulous night snorkel on the house reef - seeing octopus, eels, rays etc - Andreas from the Bobocha team was a great guide. You can also walk around the whole island at low tide takes 1 hour at other rimes you can walk 3/4 of way around island. We left feeling we had stayed much longer than our 7 nights - super relaxed. A little piece of heaven we would like to return to one day. Thank you very much Sarah and all the Bobacha team - we had a wonderful stay with you.
