Welcome to Villa Billerud, your Säffle “home away from home.” Villa Billerud aims to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, which is why so many guests continue to come back year after year. The guest house offers outdoor furniture, to make your visit even more pleasant. The property also features barbeque facilities. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to free parking. When you're feeling hungry, you can check out Stenmagasinet (0.7 mi), Bella Rosa (0.7 mi), or Afrodite (0.7 mi), which are all within walking distance of Villa Billerud. If you’re looking for something to do, von Echstedtska Garden is a nice way to spend some time. Fabulous Retro B&B
Reviewed By Jon BA great overnight stop off. Easy checking in (they leave the keys available for you). Amazing retro rooms decked out in a high 1940-50 style. Lovely setting on the river with (if you are quiet) a resident beaver! Hot tub and tennis courts to hire out. Small kitchenette with hob and micro plus pots, pans, utensils, plates and cups, and a fridge available if you are self-catering. Good Swedish breakfast, big choice of cereal and yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, teas, coffee, 2 fruit juices, 2 cold meats, 2 cheeses, warm hard-boiled eggs, good variety of bread and an excellent artisanal crispbread. Small discounts if you make your own breakfast (but you really shouldn't!) and bring your own bedlinen and towels (which is a standard Swedish custom). The beds were comfy, on the firm side which suits me. We had a bathroom tiled in marble! We would definitely stay again. A great place if you want to see how the other half lived after the war.

Reviewed By Ferievacation2020Very neat room. Good food. Good bed. But very cold water in the pool. We have to leave early because we couldn’t do anything for the cold water in the pool. The reason of our stay on the hotell is their pool, but it’s too cold to swim.

Lovely place, but simple breakfast
Reviewed By Ragge62We stayed one night at the mansion, after playing golf on one of the nearby courses. Our stay included avec before dinner, a 5-course dinner menu, overnight stay and breakfast. Nice staff, Evelina, who both checked us in and served at dinner. She had good knowledge of the food and drink that belonged to it. We chose a drink menu which also included beer, nice combinations of flavors! Lovely dinner! Our room was in a side building, small but nice, and with access to a terrace and the wonderful park. Good beds! It is breakfast that has the greatest potential for improvement at Krokstad. Small selection of breads, small selection of toppings, much was empty when we arrived. After a long battle with the juice machine, we finally got some freshly squeezed orange juice. But everything else was so good that it becomes a 4`s.
