Peaceful location yet convenient
Reviewed By SaltyThis small family run hotel/B&B is located on the fringe of Rastede close to Oldenburg. It looks across farm fields and forest in a rather nice suburban farm area. The rooms are very big, around 30sqm with large picture windows drawing you outside to the country setting. Even the bathroom looks out onto pasture. The king-sized bed is very comfortable. The room and hotel overall is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is continental with yoghurt, fruit, cereal, meats, bread rolls, bread and boiled eggs. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend Gastehaus Hankhausen.

Reviewed By Thomas HWe where a group of people going to meet friends in the area. With a filled bus (52 people) it can be hard to find room in only one place, but we made it here. It is not in the center, but the park is next door and really nice for a walk. They speak some English, but the level is not so high.
