Beautiful cottage, with all comforts - and exceptional hosts

This is why, my family and I keep coming back to Lisette and Arthur's gorgeous cottage, every time we visit our relatives in Durban. Of course, the cottage is spacious (two bedrooms, bathroom and toilet, lounge, kitchen, terrace looking over the swimming pool), spotless clean, fully equipped for a super-comfortable stay. But the friendliness and attention to details of Lisette, Arthur and their staff is what will make your stay unforgettable: they are always available to help and give a good advice. My son loved the way his teddy bears were placed on the new bed, every day.

Your hosts Evelyn and Naren look forward to welcoming you to their lovely place conveniently situated for easy access to the M7 freeway leading to the N2 and N3. Only 30 minutes away from King Shaka International Airport and 10 minutes from the Pavilion- our foremost shopping Mall, 15 minutes from the International Conference Centre (ICC) and Durban's golden beaches. Shopping centers, restaurants and a gymnasium as well as local bus and rail facilities are a mere 5 minutes walk.

Reviewed By pshozi608238Thank you Eve for hosting me and my little family on our little holiday. We felt safe and the kids loved it. The pool was not clean though it’s not a train smash. The shops are at a walkable distance even if you don’t have a car. Would definitely visit again.

There are peaceful gardens to relax in, private braai areas, Each Room has a veranda or Balcony and there is an outdoor sundeck and 8 seater Jacuzzi bath to Enjoy, and some of our rooms have private Jacuzzi baths in the bathrooms. We have fast speed free wifi and housekeeping daily with clean white linens and towels Quality at its best.
Great B and B
Reviewed By BushMathsQueensburgh B and B went out of their way to accommodate our family visiting my uncle. They even accommodated my two dogs. Our stay was most pleasant and we really appreciated their care, easy communication and little touches like the bubble bath, tea and coffee etc. The B and B is also nicely situated near an open park for the dogs to run in.

Reviewed By meyerdjVery secure and great value for money place. Rooms gets serviced daily and the other facilities are in good condition and freely available to use. The rooms are spacious and are very well equipped with all the necessary things available to make it a great stay.

Reviewed By John RThis is truly a beautiful place. It is strategically positioned and it is close to the freeway in to Durban plus Shopping Centres and Restaurants are within close proximity. It has a bushveld feel to it and overlooks a beautiful nature reserve / valley with magnificent natural vegetation, beautiful tress, shrubs and a variety of birds and some wild life. Everything is done for ones comfort and relaxation. Although its a little distance from the sea this is the ideal spot for lovers of Nature. Walks can be arranged through the reserve. We have stayed at this venue some 6 to 8 years ago and their beautifully presented breakfasts are just as scrumptious and filling now as they were then. The rooms are well appointed have decent sized TV's that are well positioned. The beds are most comfortable and we would have been delighted with a Queen or King sized bed rather than a Double Bed. We shall definitely stay at Roosfontein should we visit that part of SA again.
