We stayed in the upper apartment for a few nights and it was perfect for us. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, a great bed, right in the center of Pyrgos. We could walk everywhere, and explore the village, shop at the market or have dinner. Beautifully decorated, we loved spending time indoors in the evenings, as the weather was a little rough. It is a new apartment and you can feel it, but the price is reasonable. They even stocked the fridge for us, even though there is no breakfast included. Online communication was easy and polite, gave us good tips for the area. All in all, we are happy for our choice and we would stay there again.

We just got back from a 10 day stay here. I will say that it is really amazing for the money you pay when you consider what something similar would cost you in the main towns Fira & Oia. We booked a junior suite but were actually upgraded to a superior suite. I will admit that I didn’t realise there was any difference between as it is completely unclear on their website & on booking.com. But from what I could gather the superior suite is 2 floors (bedroom upstairs) & the other two are one. I do think that the superior is actually worth the extra cost but they are beautifully designed either way. The staff were soo amazing. Helpful, friendly, polite, always there when we needed them. They literally were happy to do anything to help and they seemed to be there all the time! Very hard workers. The private pools are larger than I expected, they are listed as heated I believe but to be honest, I couldn’t tell that they were, so they may be a little cold in the winter months. Everything was super clean, they asked every day when we would like the pool/room to be cleaned and were super considerate in waiting until you went out and such. We really loved the location as it was in a nice quiet area and close to the town of Pyrgos (less than 10min walk or 1min to drive) but it isn’t for everyone & definitely don’t stay here if you don’t want to rent a car as taxi prices are crazy (€15 euro for the less than 10min drive to Fifa) and you are at least 30min drive from Oia so I can only imagine how pricy that would be. There were a few little improvements that would have made the stay 5* for me. Food/drink. They obviously are trying with breakfast as they don’t have their kitchen open due to COVID-19 & so are using a catering service. But it really wasn’t great. It was a bag of pastry/bread, yoghurt/fruit, then usually an omelette. But the omelette was always stone cold & watery from the steam in the box by the time it got to us. They always gave orange juice and gave no other option, and I do think there should be simple choices with the breakfast such as type of pastry, what goes in the omelette, type of juice. The room service was also really poor, you could only order from 5pm-10pm so this was just an option for dinner, which means you have to go out at lunch, and with only a few options nearby, just not ideal if you want to spend the entire day at your villa. The options on room service were also not great, again, understandable as it was outsourced. 1 option for vegetarian which we both are. It was also minimum order €25 and they only had wine, beer or full bottles of spirits. Some other drink options would have been great. But Ervissa did kindly order us food for delivery when we arrived late on our first night and didn’t want the room service. Also, the superior suite is super hot in the bedroom which I have seen in other reviews. They really really need to add air conditioning up there, or at least a fan. We ended up having to have our window open through the night but it was just so loud and kept us awake due to it facing a main road. There are also some strange cushion loungers instead of standard sun loungers which were uncomfortable & you can only lie on your back. The parking situation is a bit of a difficulty just because there are just enough spaces for everyone if every suite is booked & a couple of these spaces are down a very steep hill. My partner is a very confident driver and he did not want to park down here because it was so steep. Also worth noting that this is probably not the best place to book in the current times, as the best cancellation policy they offer is 2 weeks, which isn’t really useful with COVID-19 & constantly changing guidance. They don’t allow you to move dates or get a refund so you will lose your money if you can’t go. Overall, an amazing stay with the best staff. Depending on how picky you are, consider the little bits I’ve mentioned, and I hope they do consider making improvements with the air con and cancellation policies. The food is a lot related to the fact their kitchens are not open, but I do feel they could be doing more.
