booked for 2 nights in May 2022, in room 3 at the rear of the hotel so nice and quiet. A spacious room well equiped, clean and welcoming with views of the Firth of Forth. Food excellent, and staff helpful. Must make special mention of Smey, a lovely lady who went out of her way by changing the room layout from twin to double. Smey you are a star! and made the stay special . Thankyou.

The perfect hotel for your stay in North Berwick No.12 Hotel & Bistro offers bed and breakfast accommodation with a unique, homely, hotel experience. We have recently refurbished the bistro style restaurant and all 11 rooms. Family owned and operated, we welcome individuals, groups and families where personal service and attention to detail is our number one priority. Located in the centre of North Berwick, there are multiple golf courses in East Lothian and Edinburgh is approximately 20 miles away. North Berwick boasts beautiful beaches and a harbour where guests can have sailing lessons or book fishing trips.
I stayed here for two nights after a business trip in mid May, mainly to see Bass Rock and the Isle of May. I enjoyed the ideal location, close to the harbour, the beach, several cafés and restaurants, and numerous little shops, and the friendly and familiar atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful in getting a jacket back to me that I left behind in town. I definitely recommend staying here and already look forward to coming back one day, hopefully with the whole family then.

Marine North Berwick is rooted in ancient ritual and sensory pleasures. It is the naturalist’s haven on Scotland’s eastern seaboard. Warm woods and antique furnishings meet luxurious materials and mystical touches. A vivid ode to the Scottish Linksland. Selected rooms boast stunning scenic views of the West Links golf course, firth of fourth estuary and islands.
myself and my partner were impressed with everything about this hotel from start to finish. on checking in I was blown away with decor, traditional, Scottish victorian vibes made for a very relaxing feel. check in staff very polite and helpful and we got a very surprised but welcomed upgrade. upon arriving to our room the concierge James was already waiting who could not have been more helpful. I was blown away with the room, granted not to everyone's taste but it was huge, had the best views and the most comfiest bed we have slept in. we had a 2 course meal in the lawn restaurant included in our stay and I can easily say was the best steak meal I've ever had, it was cooked to perfection, but what made the experience better was the waiting staff who were friendly, attentive and happy to chat. breakfast the next morning did not disappoint either. Great selection of continental and perfect poached eggs. the hotel looks over the beach and is a quick 10 min walk into town and plenty of parking across a narrow road. there are plenty of cosy spots with beautiful views for lunches/late tipples. unfortunately never used the spa but I will when we return which we most certainly will! thank you to marine hotel mand spa!

Former fire station built in 1912 and converted in 2000 to six en-suite bedrooms and bistro. Situated opposite the eighteenth green of the West Links and the beach. Adult only policy.
I recently stayed at the Folly Hotel in North Berwick. Definitely a 'quirky' building but with an interesting history. It's so conveniently located. Due to covid etc. they are not serving breakast at present but they are so close to cafes that it was not a problem at all. I had a very comfortable stay and I returned there for a couple of extra days.

The Castle Inn is a family run coaching inn overlooking the village green and the 12th century Dirleton Castle. All rooms are ensuite with flat screen TV and full free wireless internet access. We have a Bistro and a Restaurant serving award winning food all day every day from noon with last orders at 9:00 pm.
Brilliant food & service. Such friendly staff. Popped in & it wasn’t a problem to have a few drinks in the beer garden before having our own candle lit table ready whenever it suited us. It was our first visit. We will be back!
