The location, just a few minutes walk up the road from ferry terminal, was very convenient given my ferry arrived at 11pm and was due to leave at 5am. The late night check-in was very quick with keys awaiting us and no formalities. The room was a bit dark and dated and a constant ticking of a timer by the door annoyed me at first but the room was generally neat and clean. Bathroom was typically Greek small but the rest of the room was a reasonable size. There is a shared terrace out the front with nice views over a few houses in front to the sea and the ferry port. There were separate cloths hangers, tables and chairs positioned in front of each though only a couple of shared loungers. I am not a fan of shared terraces due to the lack of privacy both in and out of the room, with people walking back and forth in front of your bedroom window. Fortunately the hotel was not busy when I stayed. WiFi was ok. There was a small fridge and a useful writing desk as I was working most mornings. There was a good sized TV. The power plugs were not conveniently placed, there were none beside the bed. There was soap provided but no shower gel or shampoo.

I am sat in my room in this absolutely stunning little hotel, writing this review. Its in the heart of Mandraki, not far from the port. Has a pool and breakfast included. Rooms are simply done yet comfortable. Just beautiful. The staff are really friendly & will do anything for you. Tonight I should be heading to Tilos, but there is a bad weather warning so unsure if it will be delayed or cancelled. I’ve spoken to the staff & if I get to the port and it doesn’t go then I can come back until morning. Being a solo female traveller that is of great comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will stay here again when I return to Nisyros.

CLEANLINESS!!! In the summer of Covid19 I found hair in the bathroom floor!!! The staff, although polite, were unable to change our room or clean the room again before we settled. The island is remote and without many accommodation options and it felt like the owner was simply taking advantage without cleaning or maintaining this hotel at an acceptable standard. The door handle collapsed upon touching it; it never got fixed. And the room is just full of multi-plugs stuffed together ready for a short-circuit.Shame as the island is spectacular in every other way.Location and free parking is the only good thing I can say about this property. It is 2' from the port and 3' from the town of Mandraki all on foot. Breakfast was ok too.

An oldie but very clean hotel. Our room balcony had a fantastic sea and sunset view. Service-minded personnel with smiling faces vary time we asked them for something. Rigorous application of COVID-19 protection measures. They cleaned the room and changed towels every day. Although temperature was high every night, it was not necessary to use A/C we slept with open windows and turned on the roof fan in a medium speed.

I have stayed here many times. We were pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous bathroom remodeling--see pictures, when uploaded. Maria and her mother Georgia are always pleasant hostesses! We had hot water and fast internet.
