Situated in the city center, this hotel is nearby Moriguchishi Train Station offers direct access to both Kyoto and Osaka. The hotel is just a 5-minute train ride from JR Kyobashi Train Station and a 20-minute train ride from Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station. The Limousine Bus from Kansai International Airport stops in front of the hotel. Parking is free.The elegantly simple rooms at Moriguchi Royal Pines Hotel have air conditioning,high speed intenet,a fridge and an en suite bath. Clean basic hotel
Reviewed By HolidayWizardUKStayed for 4 nights on a business trip. Rooms are small by European standards. Bath is very deep but only able to sit up as it's too short to lie down. Room cleaned to an excellent standard every day. Amenities replaced every day in the bathroom. Check in was at 2 pm. Arrived at 12 but no chance of an early check in because check in is at 2pm regardless if a room is available. That is the rule! Not helpful after a long haul flight. I left my luggage and returned at 1pm. I kept asking if the room was ready from 1pm and told wait until 2pm. At 2pm I got my key and was told my luggage had already been taken to my room. That means the room was ready at some point before 1pm because I was sat outside the luggage room from 1pm and my luggage never passed me by. Ridiculous rule to stick by. Breakfast does not start until 7am. This is too late when having to get to meetings. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in where breakfast does not start at either 6 or 6.30am. On two occasions I arrived at breakfast room at 6.50am only to watch maitre d’ and restaurant staff clock watching until 7 to open the restaurant. No more dishes were brought out in that 10 minutes so the breakfast buffet was ready. On the last day I had to catch the airport bus at 7.20 so no breakfast despite having paid for it. Another ridiculous rule they stuck by. Wifi was good. Lack of flexibility over check in and late breakfast start resulted in average rating.

clean, food is good, though room has cigarette smell
Reviewed By Trish CThis is a good hotel and close to everything. The Moriguchi-shi station is right across. There is a Keihan department store also across it where you can buy a bunch of Japanese brands and items (the salestaff doesn't speak english though). There's also a Seiyu grocery store right beside it if you're feeling hungry and don't want to eat in the more expensive restaurants. There are a lot of shops around the area (Family Mart convenience store, ramen restaurant, fast food shop, mister donut, drugstore, etc). The rooms are clean though dated and smelled of cigarettes, it didn't bother us that much. If you opt not to have your room cleaned for 2 days, they will give you a 500 yen meal coupon which you can use at the hotel restaurant. This hotel is very far from Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi though.

We renovated old Japanese typical house. There are 2 dorm and 2 privet rooms, a shower, 2 restrooms, and a community room. The kitchen where had kitchen utensils.From here to Train sta. 6 min, Airportbus stop 6 min and 11 min subway sta. To Umeda 15 min by subway, to Namba 22 min by train, to Kyoto 50 min by train.If you request, we can provide a kimono to take pictures in at no charge!

Reviewed By kuanhuiw2017This is the best guesthouse we have ever found and visited. The hosts (Takeshi and Yumi) are a lovely and gentle couple that will help make your trip in Japan amazing. They make sure to assist you before leaving the house which was very useful and kind. For example, before you start your day they will try to help you to plan every possibility to make sure your day is the best. They try to find out if they can help you improve the next day/trip. Also Yumi is great at showing how to wear kimonos. All of the small touches really make you feel at home and welcomed. Would recommend to everybody. Whenever we come back to Japan we'll surely stay here. Thanks to Takeshi and Yumi :-)

Reviewed By AnnaBaker2552Easy and hassle free self check-in. Value for money for a private room with 2 single beds. Convenient location, near to train station, McD and 7e is just across the road. They provide complete toiletries including facial wash! And I love it that they don't have keys or keycards to your room. Just PIN lock. Super convenient. Also, great communication via email, fast response.
