Reviewed By Sarah TLovely hotel. Visited with 20+ friends on a motorcycling trip (couples). Hotel was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ample secure parking for bikes. The hotel were offering an "all you can eat barbeque" when we were there. Great value for money too with a choice of meats, dressings and salads and breads. Had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff
Reviewed By bertrand731Coming from France, I stayed three nights in this hotel. Nice, clean and friendly staff. Northern Europe breakfast as we like. Good place to stay if you have something to do near Emsburen. Nice and quiet village but not very interesting it self.

Reviewed By diana56We waren bezig met genealogisch onderzoek en stuitten op Emsbüren. We belandden in dit hotel. Het is brandschoon en met uiterst vriendelijk en voorkomend personeel. Wij waren nog niet gewend aan alle Corona-maatregelen, strikter dan dat ze hier werden toegepast kan haast niet. Een veilig gevoel. We gebruikten ook wat op het terras, prima keuken, zeer redelijke prijzen. Niks mis mee.

No food at the Inn
Reviewed By scotia001OxfordThis Guesthouse is stuck in the middle of the woods, miles from anywhere. The rooms are adequate but only half are en-suite and the remainder share the facilities,cities on the landing. The rooms are a bit dated, very Germanic and rustic (old fashioned) but comfortable enough. While wifi is available, that's pretty much your lot apart from a TV and a complimentary bottle of water in your room. The big disappointment however is, some sites advertise it as having food and drink available. Please Note: It does not provide any food or drink. No restaurant, no cafe, no bar, no alcoholic drinks and no tea or coffee. Not even in your room. No dinner, no breakfast, no snacks; nothing! You have been warned! You'll have to drive a few miles in either direction to eat out - but remember, there's nothing available in the Guesthouse the following morning, not even a cuppa. The owner is Russian, as is some of his non English or German speaking staff. I see from a number of reviews that it mainly attracts walkers and country buffs - it is in the middle of a large wooded area after all and there is a suggestion that you can use the kitchen, but we saw no evidence of anyone 'self catering'. One to avoid if you're looking a meal and a drink before and after bed!
