Reviewed By KhaladzkiRooms and vicinity are very clean. They have temperature checks upon entrance, alcohols and sanitizers available at various areas. Sanitation and disinfection of public areas are visible. There is a buffet breakfast, but choices are very limited to 3 viands, no vegetable option.

Reviewed By MalichouetteMasbate was initially just a lay over for us between Donsol and Malapascua. Budget accommodation in Masbate is pretty bad... With the exception of these guys! Long story short, we stayed with Chona and Christophe for the week. This was probably our best local experience of our trip in SouthEast Asia so far. They have a nice and comfortable house up in Pawa, a remote village 15km from Masbate City. Is it worth the detour even just for the night? Yes! But i guaranty you will want to stay longer. They are just so nice and easy to get along with. As Christophe is a cook, he made us some of the best food we've had on our trip. And his wife, Chona, makes excellent food herself. The house is just what you need, a safe and comfortable bedroom, a bathroom and living space! They are super generous; they play two movies on weekends outside on a projector for the kids in the village. They played board games with us, we watched movies together... We felt at home with them. We will for sure be back, sooner rather than later. Really, I can't say enough good things about this place. All I can say is: make the detour! How to get there: from Masbate City jetti, walk to the local market where you will see a bunch of tricycles. Just ask around for one that goes to Pawa. You shouldn't pay more than 150p for a private one. Once you're on the "main" road in Pawa (the only road and it's named Pawa) you'll see the pinkish home. It's the one! It may take 40 minutes to get there! Enjoy the ride!

Wonderful venue for special events
Reviewed By Lcar89My first time to be here during the wedding of a friend. Nice venue and very close to nature. Truly worth the visit and I can now understand why a lot of people choose this as venue for their wedding. Only downside is the location, not really accessible to public transpo so you must have a car or service to be able to go here.

We were humiliated! Terrible and very disappointing hotel!
Reviewed By Banana MWe booked to this hotel for the main reason of my kids to swim. We paid reservation fee almost 2 weeks before our check in date. When we checked in, we were surprised that there are so many people using the pool. I was wondering why they seems to be surprised in seeing us using the pool. The next day, we were surprised once again 's because as early as 7am, there's another big group coming. At around 9:30am, one of the person from that big group approached me to tell me that they reserved the venue and was advised by the hotel that they will be use the pool privately. I was so shocked. I felt like a cold water was thrown to me. I was so humiliated. I then realized that is the reason why the group of people during our first day well as those people during our 2nd day were staring at us. I then proceeded to the front office to be enlighten and was so surprised with the answer of the operations manager, that according to her, if there's a reservation, we cannot use the pool. It doesn't matter if we are currently checked in from the hotel. I was so surprised. They felt sorry for not advising us and gave us free voucher. But the point is we were so humiliated. We felt like gatecrasher. And what they can only do is to ask for apology and gave us voucher. Another point is if we cannot use the pool, what can we do with their hotel. They don't even have cable for my kids to enjoy. We checked in from several known hotels such as Taal Vista but we didn't experienced such. This is the first hotel we encountered that though you are checked in, you might not be able to use the swimming pool if there's reservation. Worst thing, they won't advise you.
