Worst Hotel EVER! Avoid at all costs and check your prices before you arrive as they try to charge more if your foreign!
Reviewed By dionnelevyInitially booked to stay for 2 nights during a quick visit to Beni Suef. I made a mistake in the booking and instead of booking for 29th May I booked for 29th July (I was back in UK at this point). I spoke with the hotel who said as its a simple mistake they would kindly refund that. Great... so I thought! Still to receive a refund! Anyway I arrived for my booking! First impressions on the outside... hmm armed guards in a small doorway with a single traffic cone blocking the entrance. After explaining we arrived early they let us in. Hotel itself looks quite grand on the outside for its location. Inside... your met with swarms of flies and a rancid smell of all I can describe as old. A small reception desk and 2 members of staff. Took my ID seen I was British and immediately advised me that as I'm not Egyptian there will be an additional charge! In addition to that I cannot go inside the swimming pool (borderline racist). After going back and forth I was told to sit in reception area (old dusty chairs) which was covered in flies whilst they make a call - still unsure why? In the end I gave up and decided to leave I had to complain about this situation to get a refund in which I recieved some days later but now they ignore me for the original refund and when I contact them I get a reply "we hope you enjoy your stay with us". I'd not let a dog stay here. Avoid at all costs, plenty of welcoming hotels in the area except this one.
