Reviewed By bergoThis used to be an authentic and very relaxing experience with focus on quality. With the new ownership this has change into quantity. More sauna's with entertainment (where you look at a screen with an polar bear walking by) and the field has now been completely filled with sunbeds. There is no privacy and you have to que to get into. They used to make more use of the actual location and Groningen itself. Now they call it nordic and make use of screens, moodlights etc. The investors or owners have not looked into the actual area and used that as a differentiating positioning for this spa.. I found the food quite ok but, again there, it's like a factory. One takes orders, others serve out.. No human connection.

Basic hotel for a nice price.
Reviewed By LudgerZI stayed there for one night after a wedding of friends, but certainly recommend it for people who want to stay longer there, the room where I slept was like a studio, with a bed and shower, which all were clean and tidy. The hotel is family owned and they are really friendly when you arrive there, the lady shows the room, and it all looks great. The room where I staid was like a studio, out side the main area, there is a lot of parking space.

Reviewed By PaulV1600We hadden gevraagd eerder te mogen inchecken en dat was geen probleem en mochten we laat terug zijn konden we zelfs de sleutel van de zijdeur krijgen. Maar na een bezoekje aan de lokale frietzaak die tot 19.30 open zou zijn maar toen we om 7 uur binnenkwamen kregen we niks meer te eten maar gelukkig wilde de eigenaar wel wat simpels voor ons klaarmaken. En de kamers zijn schoon en netjes en ontbijt vrij uitgebreid met heerlijk eitje. Zeer grote aanrader.

Drankje op terras
Reviewed By nvandijkBij deze B&B zit een lokaal café met terras wat Engels ingericht is. De opvallende Big Ben maakt dat je even een drankje doet op het terras. Lekker kopje gedronken en nog wat fietsroute tips gekregen van de eigenaresse. Ook hier werden we weer verrast door de vriendelijkheid van de Groningers.
