We specialize in trail rides to places around the DFW Texas metroplex such as Lake Grapevine, Copper Canyon, and Ray Roberts. We have many trails to choose from, so your trail ride won't be the same every time you come riding with us. If you know of another set of trails in the DFW area you would like to ride, let us know and we will try to accommodate you. The horseback riding is offered year round.

What a great ride on a sunny day in December. Cristina lead a great ride near Grapevine out behind Bob Jones Park.

Benbrook Stables

Right away there was good feel to Benbrook Stables. The people were upbeat and glad to help us. (Another place I previously checked out had no smiles, and I heard they experience fairly high turnover.) Went on the one hour trail ride with our eight and thirteen year old grand daughters, and they both liked it very much. The eight year old commented that she liked her horse better than at our last such experience. Interesting and good that as we walked off the property that we right away went on to the trail system at Lake Benbrook. 90 horses on the property with 60 of those being borders.

Ft. Worth Stockyard Stables

Reviewed By Malae87 - Honolulu, United States

Stopped here on our way to our final destination. We parked at the Stockyard parking for $7 all day. We walked down Exchange Road and checked out some of the shops and restaurants that were open. The Cattle Drive started around 11:30 AM but they do say 11 AM on their website. From 11 AM - 11:30 AM we saw a horse drawn wagon, had an opportunity to sit on a long horn and take photos and see cowboys. The Cattle drive happened closer to the train track area and was about 10 minutes. We took some photos and videos and walked down the Stock Yard Station shopping and dining which also had a restroom! Doesn't look places opened until around 11 AM around there but times could vary.
