My bachelors in biology/ecology at the University of California, Berkeley gave me a strong foundation in California's natural sciences. I have worked as an instructor at the Yosemite Institute, a ranger for the National Park Service and National Forest Service and as a field adult education instructor at the California Academy of Sciences.
