Five of us, teens and adults, went along to the Lamai Thai Cooking School. It was a very enjoyable and delicious experience and the kids are enthused about cooking Thai food at home (which is always a plus). Um is a patient, friendly, engaging teacher, who made the whole thing a lot of fun. The location is excellent too, with a view out over the ocean and grandfather rock (which also amused the kids). The only warning I'd give is: DO NOT EAT before you go; it's five courses of Thai goodness, you want to make sure you have space.

Very pleasant sisters who run this cozy little bar right in the center of Lamai. Here you get good drinks, you will meet new people, and you always feel welcome back. I will definitely come back next time I am on Koh Samui!

What an amazing experience! I did the herbal detox + the liver flush and orange juice fast during 10 days and lost 5kg! It exceeded every expectation I had! My metabolism is very slow and when staying at a weight loss spa once for 2 months it took me almost 1 month to lose the same kgs. To put things in perspective.. this is my first ever review and the only reason I’m writing it is that rock bar deserves it. Went there in a big group and everyone of us had an amazing time. Definitely the highlight of our trip! Would definitely go back to Sami just for this bar..
