You just won't get more "Smiles per gallon" than when driving a Caterham 7. The iconic British sports cars for self drive hire enjoyment of the wonderful scenery and often deserted roads of the Highlands and Islands, Moray and Aberdeenshire. This castle was built in 1140 AD and is the best-preserved example of a 12th-century moat-and-bailey style structure.
Duffus castle is loved by kids, a castle ruin that they can climb over and big hills to roll down along with the moat that surrounds it, a great place to visit and take a picnic and kite to on a nice day, parking is ok, although can be busy in the summer months and only a single track road in and out !!

Pluscarden Abbey is a haven of tranquility and peacefulness rarely found in this world. The monks are very welcoming no matter your denomination or belief or even if you have none. The architecture is amazing when one thinks of the lack of Equipment available when it was originally built. The history of the place and dedication of those who revived it and are continuing to develop this great Abbey is truly amazing.

This was our second visit and as it was warm and sunny this showed off the beach and not surprisingly it is very popular with families. The parking is excellent and many of the beach huts were superbly decorated.
