Bikes in excellent condition. We rented a bike for the day to do some relaxed biking after 10 days of hiking the Kerry way. We toured around Muckross lake and the region of Ross castle. We had a tasty lunch with a stunning view at Dingis cottage, visited Muckross house (excellent guided tour lasting 1 hour) and saw red deer north of Ross castle naar Knockreer House. We regularly rent bikes on vacation and I can truly recommend the O'Sullivan bike rental shop on Beech road for great service, good price and quality bikes (Trek).

We booked bikes and boat (GapofDunloeTours) to cycle through the Gap of Dunloe. We were greeted by two welcoming people and were given full safety rundown and even a packet of sweets to keep our sugar levels up throughout the long cycle. We had never ventured up the mountain before and we were put at ease with detailed instructions on how to safely navigate the roads, and most importantly where to stop for hot tea and food along the way! It was the welcome we needed after waking up to a dark and rainy morning ahead of a full day planned outside. Cycling experience necessary for the Gap of Dunloe route. Highly recommended.

Since then they have expanded this family business to 3 outlets within Killarney town to include bike rental and outdoor gear sales. O’Sullivan Cycles are agents for the leading bike manufacturers of the world including Trek, Giant, Specialized and many more. We have a wide range of bicycles for hire to suit all tastes, whether you’re interested in exploring the nearby National Park for a day or planning a week-long excursion around Kerry.
The bikes here were in good condition. Neil made a great effort to make sure each of us had a bike that fit. Careful seat adjustment. Excellent maps and directions. We had a great ride out to the lakes. Neil also was a great help with a special place we wanted to see, the Seven Sisters stone circle outside of town. Neil met us first thing in the morning and called a taxi driver who he was sure would know how to find the Seven Sisters site. Above and beyond the call of duty!
