A lovely garden and well worth a visit. £5 entrance fee with a map provided although we just wandered happily along well laid out paths through glorious autumnal colours. It was quiet and well tended with lots of seats provided. The cafe was really good with fabulous home made mushroom soup at a very reasonable price. The glasshouse was well worth a visit too.

Baxter Park

Live nearby to this beautiful park, enjoy a walk through it to reach Albert Street, have visited the small cafe for a cuppa and a seat outside with friends, cafe run by the local Boomerang Charity, always a water bowl out for the passing dog walkers. Beautiful pavilion used for weddings , great for outdoor photos, two play areas, one for smaller children and one for older with climbing frame swings etc, both areas gated, a great park, worth a visit :)

Slessor Gardens

This multi purpose open space brings an entirely new dimension and opportunities to the City. The amount of people from out of town and indeed other countries that we have encountered at concerts and events etc, is truly wonderful.
