My son got a lesson as a generous birthday present from a family friend, and I was so jealous I booked one for myself the same day! Christina was our instructor, and helped me choose a "beginner" route from Glasgow to Belfast. I did the taxiing, the takeoff, the approach to Belfast and the landing, all in 45 minutes including a very thorough briefing. My son was less choosy (and more cheeky!) so Christina recommended a more "interesting" route - Innsbruck to Salzburg. As you can see in the pictures that meant a mountain to avoid on takeoff and a valley to fly through for the landing. Exciting and we did have to make one go-around but my son nailed the landing and declared it was "more fun than [he] expected it would be".

Newlands Park Sports & Social Club is owned by Cheltenham Rugby Club and is set in 15 acres of Rugby & Football pitches. There are 2 function rooms, one with a Skittle Alley and both with fully stocked bars. We also have a small meeting room available. Plenty of parking for functions and an ideal location to Cheltenham Racecourse with only a 10 minute walk.

We have soft play for the younger ones spread over three floors including two slides, we also offer an under 2's area for the little ones to play. For the over fives we offer trampolines, ninja warrior and battle beam area, and for the over seven's we offer a parkour area. My 2 and 3 year old grandchildren had their party there today and I have never been to such a great venue, if only it was available in my day!! From the minute we turned up with all of the children the staff were brilliant, all happy to help and all smiling. Lovely lady doing the food too! The venue is brilliant for all ages and even do a teen and adult evening which sounds great fun! After the kids made full use of the play area we were shown to our own party room, food, drinks, party bags and balloons all ready with 3 members of staff to help us at all times. I can't recommend this place enough to be honest and haven't stopped singing its praises all day. I shall definitely recommend it to everyone. Someone on here moaned about the temperature in there, I noticed this for a couple of seconds initially, then you realise that these little ones are jumping and playing so full on that heating on high would simply be daft!! A massive success in my opinion and ultimately parents also had a great time as totally stress free. Well done funky warehouse.

Clean, tidy, well run venue with lots to stretch the body and mind. Took my grandchildren here where they said it was the best they’ve been to as it has high drops and battack machines which are great for speed reaction focus.
