It’s amazing here, lots for the children. Very busy so need to go early. Face painting and all hand made arts and crafts

Great place for long walks. Lots of hills and mud tracks. Definitely will go back hopefully next time walking all the way to Ruislip lido.

Having driven by the memorial I decided to park and visit. Parking is free but limited and the memorial extends into some well kept gardens at the rear. Impressive and clean, this is a fitting tribute to those gallant Polish airmen who made the ultimate sacrifce. Recommended history with a number of narrative boards scattere around.

Kids will love this place with its sandy beach, free playgrounds and water fountains. Went with our great nieces and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day, there is something for all ages. Away from the shoreline which boasts a fast food restaurant is a quiet tarmacked track through a wooded area close to the waters edge circumnavigating the lake, a genuine oasis of calm. There is also a miniature passenger train ride to and from the beach to the main entrance for a fee I believe. Although none of us used the shoreline restaurant it was quite busy and the food co ming out looked good. Car parking is available on site but is limited so may be an issue, all in all this is a great day out for the whole family.
