The temples towering Shikaras seems to reach out to the sky and the locals claim that the towering Shikharas of the temple were once covered with fine gold, which vanished over a period of time. Built on a huge platform, one needs to climb several steps to reach out to the temple. The exterior of the temple is intricately decorated with lotus emblems and other religious symbols.

I visited this temple at the end. Its situated behind the village. Its like its overlooking the whole town. Architecture of this temple is very unique having fortified walls and an owl's head on the top of the entrance, bcz its vehicle of Goddess Lakshmi. Its walls bear a unique style of painting. Its own kind of temple. Would love to visit Orchha again.
