Douglas Beach Park

Reviewed By JulietR475 - Ann Arbor, United States

This Lake Michigan beach is small but free and sits in a residential neighborhood. Its uncrowded during the week (except for holidays). There are many stairs to get down to the beach but most able bodied people can do it (may need to take it slow and use the benches to sit and rest along the way). There are changing stalls and toilets available, as well as a couple of picnic tables at the top. Also a foot wash. Walking tip: you can walk along the waters edge from here to Oval Beach in about 35 minutes.
