Bucks County Visitor Center

Reviewed By californialady12001 - Barnegat Light, United States

Small visitors center with revolving exhibits centered upon local history and small gift shop. Best for mature visitors. The current exhibit was meticulously curated and very well done. You can buzz through in about 15 min if you read all the exhibits. Snacks and restroom in the main area. I give it 5 stars because it was elegant and informative, but this would not be a place for young children. Easy to access, 1 minute across the Parx parking lot. A good place to get a refreshment before heading off to a drive home.

Neshaminy State Park

Shame on me for just NOW discovering this gem of a state park in Bensalem Township, where I have lived for 35+ years! Neshaminy State Park is nestled on 300+ acres near the confluence of the Neshaminy Creek and the Delaware River. Fast Fact: In 1956, the land for the park was detonated to the Commonwealth by Robert Logan, who was a direct descendant of founding father James Logan. The park is gorgeous and has a huge marina, swimming pools and multiple hiking trials. Check it out for yourself.
