Hebridean Isle Tours

We are a small family run local tour business located in Stornoway on the Isle Of Lewis. At Hebridean Isle Tours we run 3 tours, one of the Isle of Lewis, one of the Isle of Harris and one to Uig and Great Bernera, each tour is priced at £70 per person, payable on the day. We also take you places off the beaten track, giving you the best opportunity to explore the island. Hugh, your guide, will share with you his local knowledge and also some of the local traditions whilst you sit back and relax. Although the seasons and scenery change throughout the year the beauty remains, we are here to meet you from your accommodation, from the ferry terminal or collection from the airport if it’s a flying visit. So just sit back, relax, have a laugh and get the ‘craic’.

Abhainn Dearg Distillery

Reviewed By KarenH865 - Taunton, United Kingdom

Lovely little distillery, interesting to see the peat house. Without all the shiny copper stills of some of the other Scottish distilleries you can really imagine how whisky would have been distilled when it was made illicitly on the island many years ago. Thank you for a great visit. Whisky tasters packaged up for us by our guide so we could try back at the holiday cottage. P.s. to access, walk to back of distillery in court yard and look for large red garage looking door.
