Our Studio located in a small residential alley by the main street and a small park, where you can still peek a little of Taipei 101. In this relaxing kitchen you will not only learn how to make your own Taiwanese food with our family recipes, but also be shared with Taiwanese tea culture and drinking culture of Taiwanese people in their daily life.

Locate at the historical area Dadaocheng, surrounded by antique shops and temples, Taiwan Cooking 101 School not only has it's charm but also is first one to offer routine biliqual cooking classes, 3 sessions a day, 7 days a week, to travellers and visitors. With easy to use kitchenware and cooking set and professional chef teacher, you will get closer of Taiwanese cooking skill and food culture. Come to learn making the most popular Taiwanese dishes, such as beef noodles, braised pork on rice, oyster omelet, Xiao Long Bao and Bubble Tea. Three 2hr classes a day starting at 10am, 2pm and 6pm respectively. The chef teacheres will guide you to complete a set of 3 dished step by step. Cooking Taiwanese dishes will be the most trendy and fun thing to do in Taiwan.

Wang Tea Taipei, founded in 1890, which is located in Dadao Cheng’s Old Tea Zone. Wang Tea used to be a manufacturer and wholesaler for tea but has been transformed into a production, sales, and educational venue in 2004. We further created a new room, designing a space to “Interact with Tea”. The room made it easier for costumers to get in touch with all the products. And through the design of the room and the display of the products, it likens touring Wang Tea to as if customers are reading from a tea encyclopedia. From the categories of tea to historical documents, all are on display within and without the factory, along with a guide explaining each display. The 2nd floor used to be an area where female workers separated the tea, it has now become a cultural studio.“High- class but inexpensive” is Wangs’ Tea’s century- old business ideal. Through “tea”, we are able to convey to our costumers a dense and great passion, we also hope to contribute to the tea business a professional yet minute strength, and to pass on the fragrance of tea for generations to come.

Other than our scheduled sessions, we also offer private lessons, customized to your need.
