Was a bit hesitant to book a 3hr ride as I had recently fallen off a horse, but Baerbel was fantastic and really looked after me. I had an awesome ride, the horses are so well taken care of and you can tell they really enjoy the rides, and Baerbel gave me some great riding advice to get my confidence up. 10/10 recommend!

Brilliant walk!

My wife and I in our 60s were delighted to find this catered walk, with bags carried for us from hut to hut, so all we needed was a daypack, good boots and a walking pole! Quirky accommodation that was always comfortable with a woodburner for chilly evenings. Amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and lots of time at beginning and end of each day to chat to our fellow walkers. We were lucky with clear sunny weather every day. Fantastic views, regenerating bush, birdsong all around. Highly recommended.

Awesome peaceful place

Our family stayed in the Quarters and absolutely loved it. There is lots to do and explore and the Bartrams are such a welcoming, friendly family. Thank you! The kids loved feeding the animals and petting them, going for walks around the farm and staying in the cosy, rustic Quarters. The way you decorated the toilet was very creative and entertaining and all the animals gave a real feel of the country. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
