Immerse yourself in the silence of the riverbanks of the Sile Regional Park. The placid waters of the river mark the slow passage of time and the luxuriant growth of the surrounding nature. Riding along the riverside, you will enjoy the view of beautiful riverside villas with their private docks. At Roncade, the famous magical castle will welcome you with its renaissance architecture. In the ancient historic cellar, the oak barrels age the nectar of Bacchus to give the most excellent wine tasting. In these archaeological rich lands, the museum of Quarto d’Altino houses ancient artifacts that trace history back to the Iron Age. After the lunch, the ride continues to Portegrandi, famous for its “Conca” Sile’s original gate to the Lagoon. At the end of the journey the breeze and the colors of the Venetian lagoon plant memories that will last a lifetime.

What a fantastic experience! So much more than just an e-bike rental: you get curated routes, via an easy-to-use GPS system that hooks on to your bike, which takes you past places you would never see otherwise. We did the Palladian tour but, outside of Covid time, you can apparently do wine tours and all sorts of things that we will plan to do next year. But more generally, E-biking in this wonderful part of the world is the best way to see it. We happen to love Palladian architecture, so we felt very lucky to see his masterpieces throughout the countryside. But even if you just want to see a lot of beautiful country off the beaten track, this is the way to do it! and though we are not a sporty family, we got up mountains (and down them)! About the company: the service was great, bikes were totally easy to master, can’t say enough about it. Also you get to rent your bikes out of a Palladian villa. Unbelievable. Recommended!!
This Family Friendly Tour kicks off in city of Treviso and explores the beauty of the verdant nature of these flourishing lands. Along the ancient city walls, the Sile River flows slowly and steadily. On Paradise Island, children’s eyes are wide open and happy to see animals living freely between land and water. Between canals in the center, fish and ducks play within gentle currents of Europe’s longest resurgence river. From the impressive Porta Altinia the adventure begins along the ancient Restera, the road that leads to the Lagoon. In the Cemetery of Burci (the old Venetian boats), turtles sunbathe with cormorants and herons while the regal swans preside over the waters. A lunch stop on the banks of the Sile river where pirates used to sail. In the afternoon we will set off on the E-Bike towards the Lagoon and the discovery of the sea inhabitants of the Sea Life Aquarium. From the sea tunnel, the Iggy turtle welcomes you to the magical underwater kingdom of King Poseidon.
