What a fabulous little theatre this is as we had the most entertaining evening watching A Christmas Carol - performed as a one man show The staff made everyone feel very safe and were very welcoming The actor was incredible and had the audience laughing all through his manic performance that we were so pleased this was the show we had chosen to see Would love to return and support this fabulous place when things eventually return to some semblance of normality

Newly re-opened in September 2017. Bringing concerts, comedy, opera, musicals, ballet and family shows throughout the year to its Main Auditorium. There is also The Broadway Suite, staging corporate and private parties, conferences, smaller theatre and music shows. The venue also houses Walter's Bar and Eatery which is open every day serving quality food and drink.
Excellent show.Amazing sound quality and lighting. An excetionally talented cast. The stage is a good size and the way it's laid out,you can see the stage perfectly. The seats are comfortable if a little stingey on leg room.Drinks and sweets available in foyer and decent toilets that were clean and well stocked. Recommend parking at Market car park as it's only £1.50 after 5pm. Really pleased that Peterborough has this venue.

In 2019, this incredible venue is re-launched as the New Theatre Peterborough. The main auditorium seats 1100 and houses an eclectic programme of West End productions, cabarets, dance and comedy. The large Boizot Lounge, is versatile in its use. From private party hire and conferences to dinner shows & jazz nights. Well stocked bars serve pre-show.
We went to the New Theatre again last night to watch Cabaret and it was an amazing experience. We arrived just in time as I had to park the car the car parks in Peterborough are not encouraging as you have to register online to pay for parking! We just arrived for 7:30 with no time to buy a drink or a program due to the issue with parking. The theatre is beautiful inside and was packed last night which is great news for business. The show was fantastic and really enjoyable. The theatre do need more staff as we had to wait ages for a drink at the interval, personally I would turn off the coffee machine in the bar as it takes the staff ages to make people’s fancy coffees, it would speed things up for them. The staff are really friendly and polite which is lovely to see even though they were stretched and under pressure. The only criticism I have is the ladies toilets on the first floor smell disgusting and need sorting out.

We visited for the Caravan & Motorhome show run by Warners. It is very well organised especially the car parking. Lots of Caravans/Motorhomes on show. Lot of different stalls selling various items. Lots of cafe/ burger stalls. It is a vast site.
