Very enjoyable experience, the guide Carol was friendly and knew when to gently guide us in the right direction. Really atmospheric, we had a lot of fun!

A unique retail and leisure destination that will hopefully appeal to all the family. Featuring over 40 unique shops & businesses which includes a leading art gallery, high class butchers, craft studios, food shops, ladies & gents clothing, gifts with a difference, handbags & Jewellery, childrens clothing & toys, hair & beauty, furniture, fredericks ice cream, Ladies & gents clothing, Crafty Potter Craft Cafe, Licensed Two Birds Tea Room, a Bridal Shop and even a Hat Hire and much more. Please note there is disabled parking, disabled ramps to two of the three entrances, wide walkways, disabled toilets, and wide entrances to all ground floor shops. We unfortunately have not been permitted to install any lifts to the first floor by the Fire Services due to the fact the buildings are part wooden structures and this would raise health & safety issues re any evacuation.
Had a lovely time wandering around here today the day before lockdown 2 in England. Plenty of parking and we had a delicious lunch in the tea room followed by a meander around the independent shops within. Lots of little shops selling clothes, jewellery, toys, furniture, art and even a small food hall and butcher. Definitely worth a visit particularly if looking for a gift either to yourself or someone else.

A friendly, educational, small holding based at Applecast Ecocenter. Helping young people achieve through hands-on learning. Our visitors center, including petting zoo, animal feeding, and educational learning sessions is now open! We’ve taken measures to ensure our staff and visitors are safe to visit following the COVID Closure. It is finally safe for us to open. As a large outdoor space it’s the perfect place to get out for the day. We’ve got hand sanitiser all around site that are topped up constantly, our cafe has plenty of outdoor seating, and we’re taking measures on the farm and gift shop to keep everybody safe.
We stumbled across this place in September and it is amazing, the animals are well looked after and are "spaced out" with the social distance thing now running. The school children help on a Thursday (maybe do other days but I was there recently on a Thursday and they were there then) they enjoy what they do and it's good to see an out reach thing for people - wish I'd of had that opportunity when I was at school! As mentioned previously food is 'basic' cheese sandwich and the like and then you can have sausage sandwiches etc and YES they offer "veggie saus barm" for us vegans/veggies :) Food at the moment is "take away" so mum and myself had a picnic in the car ???? but they did say, 'if it's easier for you it's ok you can take a chair from the outside seating bit' even though they've tape over them as a ''don't use." Cycling people can get a deal of "barm and tea/coffee" for £3 and we where there quite a lot came to take up the offer! They do another nice thing if you bring dogs, taking our tray back in walks a Greyhound as they've a nice touch of "free dog sausage and water" and the lady said that she'd walked round the corner and he expects his sausages!! ???? Just watch for muddy car park! Why didn't we find here sooner!!

We are regular customers of Wyreside Cafe whilst out walking my Westie. There is always a friendly welcome at this lovely cafe. They are dog friendly and serve lovely food, from main meals to a tasty snack, great value for money. The owners provide the most wonderful tasty homemade cakes and a variety of coffees, teas etc. Dogs are well catered for with water and biscuits readily available. You can eat in or out. Social distancing etc is well covered at this lovely watering hole. Certainly well worth a visit.
