At the far end of our barbershop a door that leads to the bathroom. From this door no customer comes back immediately. Behind the door, a dark, one-and-a-half meter airlock, dimly lit, adds to the mystification. It only takes a few more steps to enter a long and narrow bar, lit by end of the day natural light, which decoration is inspired by the 1920s speakeasies. Indeed, our ambiance and 1920s furniture is inspired by the hidden bars created under the American prohibition decreed by the Volstead Act which banned the sale of alcohol from 1919 to 1933 in the United States:

This trendy smoking lounge is known for its wonderfully worn-in elegance with its mixture of old and new furnishings and 1940s atmosphere.
We really enjoyed this restaurant in Paris arrondisement 1. Cosy ambiance (reco to ask for a table in back of restaurant like the library area). The menu and wine card was diverse and the courses qualitative and tasteful. Our serving lady had a good wine knowledge and timing of food during the evening was perfect.
