The Pays de France is a vast cereal-growing plain situated to the north-east of Paris that has undergone a huge transformation with the construction of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. Every year, numerous archaeological digs are carried out in the region before any roads or new buildings can be constructed. The aim of this museum is to conserve the objects discovered during these excavations. Using audiovisual aids, experiments and models, we help you to fully immerse yourself into the region's archaeological history. There is even a special area dedicated to temporary exhibitions, which explore specific subjects in more depth and showcase new objects. English-speaking visitors can use the museum app or the audiotour on our free pads on loan at the reception.

Fluctuart is the first floating urban art centre located in the heart of Paris, at the foot of the Pont des Invalides. This barge of more than 1000 m2 on three levels welcomes the greatest street art and graffiti artists such as Banksy, C215, CLET, Keith Haring, Invader, JR, Miss Tic, Rammallzee, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Vhils. Discover its temporary exhibitions and permanent collection as well as its bookstore specialized in urban cultures. Completely free and accessible from noon to midnight, you can have lunch, have a drink as well as follow its free guided tours with passionate mediators from the ICART (the school of culture management and the art market). Fluctuart is also a festive place with many afterworks and DJ sets on one of the most beautiful rooftop in Paris with a breathtaking view of the Seine, the Grand Palais and the Eiffel Tower.
I read about Fluctuart in an online forum I follow. I was so excited to check it out! First you get to experience Paris at night. Walking along the water, seeing the lights of the city and watching the street artists work is an interesting part of Paris. I ended up checking it out a little later then expected, but I was able to spend about an hour there. It was such a unique way to listen to music, have some unique drinks and look at sime incredible art. May favorite to see was the Banksy piece! As I was there at 11 I was not able to see the Banksy that was n the gift shop. However, having some drinks, watching the art being projected and then turning around and seeing the boats go by was so peaceful. This gallery allows you the ability to be surrounded by beautiful things - whether its the city, the city lights, the sunset or the art work - it is a unique experience! Something that more cities should have.

My first is surrealist, my second is as educational as it is playful and my third is a unique curiosity. Who am I? ... The optical illusion! Our concept? Exercise our small gray cells by providing a scientific and rational explanation that our eyes can not explain or understand. Wherever you come from and whatever your age, we open the doors of this parallel world.
