Azalea Acres RV Park

Piece of Heaven

Reviewed By Cgeck

This RV Park is tucked away in a secluded area, yet close to I-10. The sites have large concrete slabs and are pull through. You are met at the gate and escorted to your site. The sites are well kept and the shower is the nicest that we have ever seen in an RV Park. There are 2 toilet stalls and 2 shower stalls, one of which is handicap accessible. There are multiple safety bars, a mat to put on the floor and a shower chair. There is also a large bench outside the shower stall to sit and change clothes. It is very clean and modern. We got BBQ from Buc-ees and brought it back and ate at the picnic table. Garbage is picked up at the site and there is free WiFi. We highly recommend this place.

Nice family oriented campground, big concreted pads. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry room. A place we love to camp every year, because everyone is like family. We can take our golf cart to ride around in the park. The owners and operators of the park are very nice and friendly.

Wilderness RV Park

Pleasantly surprised -- so, we went back

On our RV trip from FL to TX, we stopped our first night at Wilderness RV Park in Robertsdale. George was super nice and check-in was easy. It was February so every female even got a small box of chocolates. You know life is like a box of chocolates, right? We were on an end spot (A16) which we liked. The bathrooms were spotless and the park was quiet. We enjoyed the stay so stopped there again early March when we made our return back to FL.

Too many homeless tent campers. They also put you right on top of each other, no privacy. We were yelled at by the manager because we accidentally parked in the wrong area. But they weren't there to show us exactly what they wanted. Stay away at all cost

Hilltop RV Park

Reviewed By Companion248053

The RV park was basically well kept. There are several cats that roam around. We were there April 1, 2022 - April 30, 2022. The cost was $390.00 for the month. We had full hook up. There is metered electric but we were fortunate to be on row C that did not have the meters installed yet. so we didn't have to pay for electricty during our stay. The laundry room was okay, clean and $1.75 to wash and dry. Some machines were out of order or did not work well. The shower/bathrooms were very clean. The club house was closed and appeared to be used for storage . The pavillion was also not in use. The park manager was nice and friendly and apparently was in the process of trying to purchase the park. Unfortunately it was sold to another buyer without her knowledge. The new owner was cleaning out the club house and a doublewide trailer and carport that was apparently also used as storage. It was stated that prices would go up. Not confirmed but $55 per night, $195 per week, and up to $600 per month was mentioned plus metered electic.
