The cabin is in excellent condition and easily slept the 6 of us! It could have accommodated more and due to inclement weather (14” of snow), our other son’s family hung out with us during the day. There is excellent seating for cards, eating, coloring with grandkids, or playing games. With four children (2-4-9-10), we were afraid the area might get claustrophobic, but that never happened. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and serving platters etc, along with utensils for whatever you want to do. We had a steady stream of appetizers along with a full meal and never ran out of anything (except food). Used the patio area and the fire pits as much as we could with all the snow. Better weather and we would have been outside cooking, eating, and enjoying the atmosphere. Nikki was extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay! We highly recommend this facility and will be back!

New owners, Steve and Stacey McCoy, invite you to experience peaceful mountain living with the comforts of home. Relocating from Colorado Springs, we found the change in altitude brings a change in attitude we'd like to share with you. We have 10 heated cabins with kitchenettes, private baths, brand new beds and bedding. We also have 14 full hook up RV sites and 6 campsites, all with fire rings and picnic tables. We have 2 bathrooms for campers and rv-ers with 2 showers, a toilet and sink in each. Family oriented and pet friendly.
Three of us stayed in our individual campers for several nights last spring for a fly fishing trip. Although the sites are close together we had access to full hookups and restroom facilities. The new owners are working hard to upgrade this property and are some of the most accommodating and friendly people you will ever meet. I sold my camper and am looking forward to staying in one of their beautiful cabins this May for another fishing trip with friends.

We can’t say enough about our experience!!! On arrival Aaron was most attentive, kind. Showed us to our cabin, set us up. We meet our guide Melvin, he took us out fishing right away. Having never fly fished before, he was very smooth in helping me feel very comfortable learning the proper way to cast. We spent 4 1/2 days fly fishing.. which was a lot for a beginner. Well.. almost 5 Food was amazing! Family style dining. Meet some wonderful people. Cabin was super cozy, very clean. You could hear a pin drop each night. The welcoming silence was fabulous. You have nothing to do but fish for 6-8 hrs. You can maximize your time how you see fit. The social hour before dinner was great. We meet so many interesting people on the five day stay. The level of detail to your stay is Broadmoor standard. Mind you It’s a rustic environment, well worth it! That is why we’re going back next month for the weekend. Can’t say enough wonderful thing’s about this property. Looking forward to another wonderful weekend. Jennifer Young I’m verifying my experience !

Things you need to know. The road in is currently patched, but who knows what next spring will bring. Sites are very natural ( un-level ) so come prepared with blocks. Water and dump site are advertised, but during low season they are locked up. A call to the office with a reserved time of need will fix that. During the week in off season nothing but peace and quiet. Sunrises, sunsets and stargazing are out of this world. With this information you will have a great camping experience.
