The Buddha Bar

Reviewed By judythe - Sydney, Australia

Such a wonderful atmosphere. The moment I walked through the door I felt relaxed. The little shop is great for browsing and the massage left me so calm I just floated out onto King Street. Lucky its situated at the quiet end of King Street. All I can say is go there immediately!

Cipher room is amazing! There is such a high attention to detail put into everything here, from the atmosphere they create with the lobby’s decor to the confirmation email to the design of the rooms themselves. We played the Cabin and it had such a great array of puzzles and the room felt real. Our game master Tom was so lovely and knowledgeable and spent so much time talking to us about the rooms after our game which was greatly appreciated. And we loved the system of getting a pin to say you completed the room! We will definitely be back to finish our collection ☺️

Young Henrys

Reviewed By WhyDontWe - Singapore, Singapore

Great beers and laid back chilled out atmosphere. There are about 3 big dogs chilling with what seems to be the staff/ owners. I even had the first beer on the house for no apparent reason except “Welcome to Young Henrys”, how nice. Free wifi and water is available for self service as well. Beers come in smaller sizes, full pint and seems like tasting paddle is available as well. Closes at 7pm so do make a trip out to this part of town even if you don’t stay here. Part of the ale trail so pick up your trail map here.

Camperdown Cemetery

Reviewed By gaistrouthos - Sydney, Australia

This tranquil Church yard of St Stephens, Newtown is the last resting place of the early settlers of the city. The cemetery was founded in 1848 and was for twenty years the main general cemetery for Sydney, with the total number of burials being about 18,000. Many people who were important to the early history of colonial Australia are buried there, including those who perished in the wreck of the Dunbar. St Stephen's Cemetery is associated with several reputed ghosts and a murder. This is a very important historical place for the city.
