Las Manchas Wine Museum, set in the beautiful farmland of Las Manchas de Abajo at Los Llanos de Aridane, is located on the grounds of an old country house which used to serve as home for the schoolteachers. If you wish, you can sample a wide range of La Palma wines in the Museum, buy high quality craft products or find ouy about places of interest in the township.

A spaceship of a building, this modern design contrasts with its content;the early history of the first people on the Island - which predates Stonehenge. Interesting displays, that could benefit from more of an explanation. We particularly liked the reconstruction, and design of the original inhabitants stone huts. Some of the significance of the exhibits passed us by - probably due to the language barrier. Worth visiting.
