This interesting museum is in the middle of quaint Mandawa and worth a visit to have some glimpse of the region’s history with displays of dress, turbans, discussion of the various class systems and their dress habits plus formal wear on special occasions. Our group had a very knowledgeable guide who explained the various displays and history of the area. A lovely old building now made into the museum and worth the entry fee and guided tour, perhaps allow at least 90 minutes here.

I visit this temple every year for darshan of our Almighty, our Divine. One feel blessed when you are inside the temple specially when you are at the mandapam in front of Dadiji. Temple provide very good accomodation at a very reasonable price. Have different categories of room and one can choose according to their pocket. (From Rs 100 per nt to Rs 900 per nt). Rooms are provided for 24hrs duration. Also have an in house canteen . Food is awesome. Prasad is also offered as lunch and dinner for a very reasonable price of Rs 50 per person only per thali (unlimited, one can eat as per his or her hunger and appetite). Must must visit place to seek blessings of God. I am blessed.

Sekhawati region in Rajasthan , India is well know for its Havelis. Havelis are traditional mansion for generations of families to live. Traditional havelis in the Indian subcontinent are built around a courtyard, and all family activities revolved around this chowk or courtyard. Additionally, the courtyard serves as a lightwell and helps ventilate the house in the hot and dry climates of the region. The havelis of this region are located in small towns like sikar, Nalwalgarh, Mondawa and are full of artistic and cultural values. They are beautifully decorated with fresco paintings outside as well as inside of the havelis. These heritage havelis built by the ancestors of rich and famous merchants and landlords of India. These havelis are known by their family names such as morarka, podar, Jhunjhunwa and many more. At present some of these havelis are converted into resorts/ hotels or museums. These havelis are adorned with paintings of gods and goddesses, animals, floral and geometrical designs. Some of the designs are in fresco colors and some with golden highlights. The wooden doors and windows are articulately carved adding beauty to the architecture. It reflects the traditionally rich art, culture and heritage of the society . Each and every haveli is different and vibrant - spectacular work of art and architecture. Seeing is believing ! Most of the havelis are open from mornings to evenings and they charge entrance fee. Nawalghar, mandawa , sikar and surrounding areas are full of haveli towns. They are connected with rail and road from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
