Limehouse is a near perfect conservation area that offers a number of short trails, POI, photo ops and a park. Parking is free and the trailhead is clear and welcoming. The trails are short enough for a hike with young children or a quick visit if you're short on time. However, there are some major issues that need to be mentioned. First, the trails are not well marked. The colour codes are not consistent, for example; The Bruce trail is Red on the map, but the blazes are White. The Yellow trail is the Blue trail. It's horribly marked and needs a simple upgrade. Secondly, there is so much dog crap on the trail it's revolting. Literally, smack dab in the middle of the trail people let their dogs crap. I don't know why people do this. You will usually find poop bags left trail side or even flung into the tree tops. I hope these people never return. Lastly, there is so much litter everywhere you look. It's too bad, because it would be a perfect park if not for the irresponsible dog owners or the losers leaving their garbage. If you go, please pick up a piece of garbage on your way out. Keep the green space clean and leave your dog at home.

Just driving there was a beautiful! You already started to relax. You can park on the street. There is a huge map with different trails to choose from depending on how much time you have. The trail was well marked and well groomed. As you walk, you are surprised to see a pond or a small lake with ducks. Further down, you realize that you are on top of an escarpment and can see far away the beautiful rolling hills. There huge rocks along the side of the trails. The whole experience was fun!

The Terra Cotta Conservation Area offers several scenic trails surrounding a few smaller lakes and ponds. With the trails being relatively short, you can get through several in a day. This park is perfect for all types of visits, providing a peaceful escape into nature. Even though our visit was in the summer, I imagine there will be beautiful colours during the autumn. I recommend a visit for anyone seeking an easier, simple hiking experience.

Took my grandbabies to get pumpkins and had a great time. They loved being able to run around outside. Picked out their pumpkins ,climbed the hay mountain, went through the haunted forest. Laughed and played. Very relaxed atmosphere for their fall adventure. Went home happy and tired with a bottle of their lovely wine. It was a great day

Yesterday was the first day since Christmas that our government ALLOWED us to eat in a restaurant, and my wife and I decided to celebrate by having dinner at The Pickled Piper. What a great decision! The food was a pure delight. My wife had the Pierogi Pizza. It’s something she fell in love with when she first had in Curaçao, and there aren’t many places you can find it. But of the places where she has found it, The Pickled Piper’s version is the best, hands down! I had a selection of three of their delectable appetizers - Thai Chicken Bites, which were crisp, spicy and moist; Coconut Shrimp, which were juicy and crunchy; and golden, delicious Cauliflower Bites. But as scrumptious as the meal was, what made the experience doubly delightful was our server Sarah. She made us feel like we were welcome guests in a friend’s home, and her service was fast and efficient. Thank you to the Pickled Piper and to Sarah for giving us such a wonderful return to indoor dining.
