Wide River Winery is located in Clinton IA on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River at its widest point. Enjoy bottles of their locally made, award winning wines with a Cheese & Charcuterie tray while enjoying the serenity of the river view from the deck.
Had a great time visiting this winery! The names of the wine were great fun for an individual such as I employed in a legal profession! Sitting on the deck overlooking the bluffs and river drinking a refreshing Blushing testimony slushee was heavenly! The people conducting the wine tastings were friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend a stop here when you’re in town!!

Enjoyed finding the names of trees and plants that I would like to have in my own garden/yard. It was a beautiful summer morning with no other people around.

Discover when Clinton was one of the lumber capitals of the world. The museum features exhibits for all ages, regular special programming, and hands on learning.
My nephew had an awesome time playing with all of the items in each of the log cabins in the loggers camp. The water table is huge and lots of fun. There is a river rafting log transporting game that was also fun for kids and adults. We missed out on the train ride, guess they can only give rides when they have enough employees there.
