Barns of Rose Hill is a vibrant 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts venue and community center located in historic downtown Berryville, Virginia. Our venue was formerly two historic dairy barns from the early 20th century that have been respectfully restored and renovated into one unique building with superb acoustic engineering and modern amenities. We offer a diverse variety of free and affordable programs throughout the year for people of all ages. Our programs include live music, exhibits, films, workshops and classes, jam sessions, community programs, and more to fulfill our mission to enrich lives through programs in the performing, visual, and literary arts.
We started coming for the Celtic music, then the bluegrass. Last night we saw the Classic Concert Orchestra play Scott Joplin and 1920’s jazz. The intimate venue for small ensembles ensures a great time. One reviewer said to eat ahead. I say check ahead because there is good barbecue occasionally. We’ll be back. Discover upcoming events on their fb page.

We always enjoy visiting this farm stand especially in the fall with the squash and pumpkin display We love to see the chickens roaming about in the garden amongst the flower and plants. The selection of plants and produce is excellent too.

This is our go to when we want to pick our own fruit. Today we picked cherries. After picking cherries (over 6 pounds) we ate in the store/ covered porch area. We purchased chicken tamales, a Mexican lunch special (tortillas, shredded chicken, refried beans and rice), and cherry yogurt. Everything was made to order and delicious. We also enjoy going in the Fall, to pick Honey Crisp apples. They have a Peach Festival that is great, too. Owners and Staff are always helpful.
