Amazing engineering suspension bridge right over the Falls river giving a great view of the Falls. If you're squeamish or motion sensitive but want to walk the bridge, then stay in the center where stability is better

When guests come to town sometimes we just get in the car and drive across the bridge, turn around, and drive back across it. Architecturally stunning, you can view the city, the three rivers that surround it, and the marshes at low tide. And if you have an adventurous spirit you can use the pedestrian walkway to walk, jog or ride your bike from one side to the other.

This place is a treasure. Treat yourself to a delight. We were in the upstate and I mentioned that I would like to see this covered bridge, so we made a point of doing it. The place has a nice park with plenty of parking and a small hike down a hill to the bridge. There are signs that tell of the history. I think it would make a good place for a small wedding. The reception could be held elsewhere, as there are no restrooms. I would love to go back in the summer or in warm weather so I could put my feet into the creek. It is a beautiful location.

Quiet spot to hike, enjoy nature, and appreciate the beauty of this bridge built in 1820. Children would love playing in the water.
