Each year, horse enthusiasts hoof it to Louisville and Churchill Downs, the legendary home of the Kentucky Derby. In addition to equestrian endeavors and bluegrass roots, Louisville boasts a range of exciting attractions the whole family can enjoy. Stroll through Central Park, in the historic district, to people-watch and get a real feel for the city. Visit other nearby parks for hiking, biking and fossil finding. Baseball fans will love the Louisville Slugger Museum, a celebration of the sport's legends. The museum is easy to spot, just look for the humongous bat that leans against the building.

Goodwood Brewing is a production brewery located in the heart of downtown Louisville. The brewery is dedicated to making beers that have been touched by wood; whether in reclaimed oak casks once used to house bourbon, red wine, and brandy or seasoned on oak, poplar or ash. Goodwood’s "shade-grown beers" are all touched by the natural gradations of reclaimed casks and other wood types for flavorful expressions that are unique to Goodwood. Just like the bourbon Kentucky is famous for, all of Goodwood’s beers begin with limestone water. The gents behind Goodwood are some of Louisville’s longest-serving brewing veterans, running production breweries here since 2001. Goodwood Brewing Co. offers brewery tours, private event rental space, and live music, yoga and other weekly & monthly events in the taproom. The 200 year old building with a fully renovated Taproom is conveniently located at the edge of NuLu, and it's the perfect blend of historic, industrial and cool!
A freaking great ‘non traditional’ bluegrass group. So talented and entertaining. Bring them back Goodwood!

Gravely Brewing Co is a family-owned and operated music brewery based in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded by Nathaniel Gravely and brewed by Cory Buenning, the twosome and their wives (who are sisters) Holly Gravely and Kelly Buenning, are driven by equal parts fresh beer and live music. We strive to create brews that push the boundaries of craft beer's creativity while executing classic beers to perfection. German heritage runs deep both in our owner's family tree and the historic site on which our brewery sits, which suits us just fine because we love brewing classic German recipes. When Head Brewer Buenning isn't doing classic German brews, he's often hanging out in hoptopia making inventive IPAs true to his West Coast background.
This brewery has the proposal to mix good music and good beer! My guess, they are doing a great work! Second time I went there and tried an Irish red, porter and a stout, all three great beers. The Mayan food is also good, try the tacos with smoked salmon, great tacos!!!

The story of Mile Wide Beer Co. begins with a few friends, a couple of beers, and one big idea. Along the way, there have been ups and downs, frustration, elation, and a near disaster or two. And we’re just getting started! We're confident that we're producing and pouring some of the best beer in Kentucky, stop by and judge for yourself!
