Since 1983 the Airport Inn has been a home away from home for tourists and business travelers who visit Barrow. We are conveniently located two blocks (3-5 minute walk) from the Barrow Airport terminal.
We travelled from Sydney, Australia twice with friends…….7 the first time, 6 the second. Such an inviting, cosy stay. Roma’s comfy, hosts amazing. Very sad that Andrew has gone. We were planning another visit next year. Thank you for making our time in Barrow so special. We will miss you.

Beautifully designed and decorated custom home featuring spacious bedrooms, comfortable lounge areas, well appointed bathrooms and multiple laundry rooms. The large kitchen and dining room serves as the gathering point for hot breakfasts included. The entire house is available to our guests with the exception of the private bedrooms. There is space for luggage storage, outdoor gear, etc....
Our stay was amazing and we could not ask for better hosts! They were incredibly knowledgeable and had works of art native to the area and Alaska! We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed learning about our hosts! Highly recommend!!!

Tukkumavik is your true home away from home featuring fully equipped kitchens, modern furnishings and state-of-the-art key code door locks. As a hotel wholly owned by the Inupiat of Barrow, it is our commitment to honor our traditional Inupiat values by providing the best stay possible for our guests.
Our stay there was indeed great, two bedrooms, really warm place, plenty of hot water. It was expensive, as it is everything in Barrow, but couldn´t imaging better place to stay there few days. WIFI is not reliable at all. There is an option to have paid WIFI with higher BW, but internet was enough to at least check emails. Easy check-in/out, and with all the facilities to cook there (as it is totally overpriced the market, recommend to take some food with you from wherever you fly from!!!).

We had a great time in this 2 bedrooms and living with a kitchen and all comfort. Jason the owner has been really helpful. And this is the only alternative in Barrow to the expensive hotels especially if your are a party of 3 or 4. The main shopping center is at only 200 m which is convenient if you do not have a car. We can definitely highly recommend the place.
