Sel d'Ailleurs is a guesthouse retreat set in an ancient two-hectare olive grove in the village of Imarigha, 9km south of Asni on the picturesque road to Taroudant. Offering 8 exquisite rustic guest cottages, a large swimming pool, first class international and Moroccan cuisine and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, Sel d'Ailleurs is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquility.
After six days of heavy tracking we walked into the lovely park/gardens of Sel d'Ailleurs. Wow, what a surprise! 20.000 m2 of well maintained grounds, restaurant with a young very professional female chief, standalone authentic/luxury chambers in hidden gardens, terraces everywhere, pool with a beautiful view on the mountains, at sunset drinks at the fireplace. Warm hospitality.

Riad La Vallée Verte is located in the valley of Asni, about forty kilometers south of Marrakech, right in front of the High Atlas, at the entrance of the Toubkal National Park. Refurbished in 2016, the Riad features rooms decorated in the traditional Berber style. All have a private bathroom in Tadelakt, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served at your choice, by the pool, on one of the terraces with a view of the valley and the peaks of the High Atlas or at the restaurant. Ideal choice for travelers who wants to relax, or a strategic starting point to discover the region, We will welcome you during your stay to make your holidays as enjoyable as possible. The Riad is located 49km from Marrakech, 14km from Imlil and the Toubkal National Park and 63Km from the ski tracks of Oukaimden
I stopped at the Raid Avllee Verte Asmi with my family on our way for some trekking in the High Atlas Mountains. We were greeted by one of the owners, Driss Zaarour, who was an excellent host and as it turned out an incredible guide too. He shared lots of knowledge with us and really was a pleasure to trek with. The Riad is small, and we were made to feel very welcome, comfortable and appreciated. I would definitely come to stay here on my next Moroccan mountain visit.

Location - it is hedged in by large, unfinished concrete buildings. There is no road access. You park and find your way via a steep narrow concrete path between rough buildings. The evening meal was twice the cost of a similar meal eating out in Marakech. There was a 'misunderstanding' over a camel ride, and lots of difficult haggling. Staff seemed to be treated rudely by management. We ended up feeling uncomfortable and very ripped off. Unpleasant all round. Asni has nothing to offer, it is just a modern town. Go a little further into the Atlas and it gets much better.
