Boutique, family owned winery, located on Candy Mountain overlooking Richland Washington. We produce small lots of handcrafted wines from our estate vineyards, as well as other select vineyards in the Columbia Valley, Red Mountain, and Yakima Valley AVA's. Established in 2005, the Kitzke Family has long been a part of the bountiful harvest of Columbia Basin agriculture. Farming takes us back to the 1970's and over the years we have gradually transformed our orchards into vineyards. A passionate process from the vine to the bottle, we produce handcrafted wines that delight the senses. Our impressive array of award winning wines have received scores over 90 pts. as well as gold and platinum medals at competitions around the country. Stop on by. Just look for the green Kitzke Cellars sign on Dallas Rd. We would love to share the scenic view and our delicious wines. Winter Hours: Friday-Sunday: Noon-4pm. Monday-Thursday by appointment. Give us a call or email to schedule your visit.

In addition to tasting our award winning wines, enjoy lunch or dinner in the Kitchen at Barnard Griffin. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm until 9:00pm. During your visit you can also experience the art of glass fusion at db Studios. The studio hosts many glass fusing classes and the campus displays beautiful glass pieces created by winery co-owner, Deborah Barnard.
My wife and I went to the winery on a whim late in the afternoon. It was our first experience visiting a winery in the U.S.. We were so happy we made the choice. Because of the issues related to COVID-19 we were seated on the patio, offered a glass of their award winning Sangiovese Rose and charcuterie plate. We couldn’t have been treated better. We selected several of their Private reserve wines to taste and ultimately purchase. We are now participants in their wine club. We will certainly look forward to our quarterly wine deliveries. Especially we would like to thank the gentleman who served us and made the tastings so informative. He made us feel special, even though I was dressed very casually ( bib overalls ). Overall a “perfect” experience!

3rd time here at Fiction. Service is personable and prompt. Food is above area standard by far. Food that was suppose to be served warm was, crispy was, nothing over or undercooked, and everything was flavorful. Thank you for great tasty lunch at a reasonable price.

I was working in Oregon and had a free day. I decided to take a dive to the state of Washington. I got off at an exit and saw a sign for a winery. I went in and was speaking to a lady about the wines I decided to buy one because it was organic and try it when I got home. I must say it was very good wish I had bought more.
