You'll be welcomed into our 5 RED star James Halliday rated winery and cellar door to enjoy tastings of our highly awarded wines within the winery itself or on the terrace overlooking our beautiful property.

The Shiraz Republic is a multi-award-winning cellar door, winery & brewery open 7 days a week for a perfect day out. Based 40 minutes from Bendigo, in the heart of the Heathcote Wine Region, we offer top quality wine & craft beer surrounded by our picturesque vineyard. Our rustic, yet modern, cellar door has plenty of space to sit & relax either outside in front of the vines or inside our barrel room by the fireplace. Taste our boutique wines at the bar or try our craft beer with a tasting pallet - with a pizza & game of pool. We are open for pizza, coffee & tastings everyday 10AM-6PM. Our cellar door is air conditioned, with high-speed WiFi, disability access & is dog-friendly (our wine dog, Annie, will greet you on arrival). Armstead Estate is a boutique winery centrally located within the Heathcote Wine Region, on the northern banks of Lake Eppalock. Our unique, 16-year-old vineyard is on an easterly facing slope, over a shallow strip of Cambrian soil, just metres from the lake.
