We took a friend who was visiting from Florida for an afternoon diversion. We had a wonderful time - the owner/vintner John couldn't be any nicer and more accommodating. He imports juice from around the globe and puts his own spin on lovely vintages like Cabernet Sauvignon, Valpolicella and Chardonnay. The most amazing wine was a Sangiovese with cayenne pepper - we loved it! Spent a leisurely hour or so - got a glass after the tastings (you get to keep the cool etched glass). This will be a must-visit for all of our future guests from out of town!!

Greenville's first premier urban winery. Everything is made in house, right here, straight from the vine to your glass! We make unique small batches, one at a time. Come down to The Junction and see what's happening! @elevation966winery
This is a great spot! Staff is awesome and friendly - they made us feel welcome and special. Great price ($9.66) on tastings and everything was excellent. We stop by most wineries on our travels for fun, but this one here in our back yard of Greenville, SC has the best wines we have tasted. Located on the future Swamp Rabbit Trail extension I am sure this will a place people will stop by. Get in there before it is too crowded. White Duck is coming just right around the corner too, so you will want to have Elevation 966 wine with your tacos. Enjoy!

My wife and I just moved to Greenville, and decided to explore our new surroundings, and we were delighted to find the Wandering Bard Meadery! Incredibly clever and aromatic concoctions, all on tap for an immediate sample, and showcased very simply. Taylor was very sociable and friendly, explaining the different meads they had available and how they were put together. The Carolina Peach Reaper was phenomenal, as well as the Dreki Skald. We enjoyed an English Ploughman's board, and quite possibly the best Cuban I've ever had. Honestly, whoever is back there putting that thing together: don't change a thing - that was amazing. Don't pass it up!

Cindy was an amazing server for our tastings! She is a gem and made our day! Most wines are sweet but delicious! Our group bought a case of wine to bring home. They had great gifts and I'm loving my new hot pink t-shirt! Definitely will return next trip!!

My wife and I stopped in here after dinner. Its a great place for drinks and for relaxing listening to live music. Unfortunately we didn't have anything to eat, but the other patrons said the food was good. We plan on coming back. Music was great!

A delight day trip for our first anniversary. Richard was kind enough to accommodate us on a Wednesday when we emailed our request just days before. We sampled a dozen wines and bought eight bottles for ourselves and friends.

Greenville County's Premier Winery & Vineyard featuring daily wine tastings, vineyard tours, local cheese plates, and even a mini-pig named Pinot!
Quaint winery. Great variety of wines suitable for all palates. The outdoor patio was comfortable for sitting and enjoying weather permitting. Annie was our sommelier and was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting. Great girls day out.
